What we collect

When you sign in and use Toach we collect:

• Account info from Google Sign-In: your email address, name, and profile picture URL.
• Videos you upload: stored in our object storage so the analyzer can process them and so you can play them back later.
• Generated analyses: the rendered result video, per-shot scores, dimension breakdowns, coaching signals, and recommended drills.
• Usage events: page views, login/logout, upload events, shot expansions, drill clicks, language switches. Each event includes your IP address and browser/device user-agent string.
• Payment info (Pro only): we don't see your card — Apple or Stripe handles that. We do store the customer and subscription identifiers they give us, plus your subscription status and renewal date.

What we do with it

We use the data we collect to:

• Run the swing analyzer and show you the results
• Build your personal motion baseline (from your own player profile)
• Charge for and renew Pro subscriptions
• Understand what features are used so we can improve them
• Diagnose bugs and prevent abuse

We do not sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Who we share it with

We share data only with these processors, and only as needed:

• Cloudflare R2 — object storage for your uploaded videos and rendered results.
• Google & Apple — verify your sign-in / purchase. Your email, name, and picture come from your Google profile.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management (web).
• AI APIs (Anthropic, Google Gemini, OpenAI): when we generate coaching text or verify shot detections, we send a short clip or text prompt. We don't send your account info or full video.

How long we keep it

• Videos and analyses: kept until you delete them or close your account.
• Usage events: retained for up to 12 months for analytics, then deleted.
• Account info: kept while your account exists; deleted within 30 days of account closure (90 days for backups).

Your rights

You can ask us to (a) export the data we hold about you, (b) correct anything wrong, or (c) delete your account and all associated data. Email toach2026@gmail.com with the request — we'll respond within 30 days.

If you're in the EEA / UK / California, you have the additional rights granted by GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection). Use the email above to exercise them.

Cookies and local storage

We don't use third-party cookies or advertising trackers. We do use browser localStorage / on-device storage to remember your session token (so you stay signed in), your language preference, and a random session ID for usage analytics.

Security

Data in transit is protected by TLS. At rest, your videos are stored in Cloudflare R2 with its default encryption. Database access is restricted to our application code; no one outside the team has direct access.

Children

Toach isn't designed for children under 13. If you're a parent and believe your child created an account, email us and we'll remove it.

Changes

We'll update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
